You need to navigate to Vehicles screen and add a vehicle. That's it. The odometer value for this vehicle will be picked up from the first fill up you make for the vehicle in Simply Auto.
To change the units from imperial to metric or vice versa, you need to navigate to Settings (on the main menu) and select the unit of choice for Distance, Volume and Consumption.

Simply Auto lets you customize the Add Fillup and Dashboard screens by clicking the 'Customize Screen' button in the top right corner of these screens. The same option is also available in Settings. By customizing these screens, you can decide what information you would like to see on these screens.
Before saving every record, Simply Auto checks that the Odometer value and date are in sync. So basically you cannot enter Odo value 500 on 11/1/2014 when you already have a record with Odo 400 on 11/15/2014. In such a case you will get a pop up saying 'With that Odo value the date should be greater than 11/15/2014'. Similarly you cannot enter Odometer value 300 on 11/20/2014 when you already have a record with Odo 400 on 11/15/2014. In such a case you will get a pop us saying 'With that Odo value the date should be less than 11/15/2014'
Partial fill up doesn't provide sufficient data to calculate accurate efficiency, hence the 'n/a'. However, as soon as you perform your next full tank fill up, you will see the efficiency for your partial fill ups as well.
If you still have the data with you, you can enter back dated fill ups. In case you do not have data on the missed fill up, there is a Missed Fill Ups options. You need to go the Customize Screen (the gear icon) in the top right corner of the 'Add Fill Up' screen and select to show 'Missed Fill Ups' under 'Select Fields to be Displayed'. This will enable the option on the Add Fill Up screen. Use this option when filling up after the missed fill up.
To change the quantity unit for individual fill ups, you can click on the dropdown arrow next to the quantity unit on the Add Fill-up screen. This is a part of the pro version of the app.

Service or expense names can be edited or deleted by holding (long clicking) the name. This can be done from the service/expense list presented at the time of adding a service or expense, or from the Reminders screen.
Reminders can be setup for recurring services and expenses. To make a service or expense recurring, hold (long click) the service or expense name and check the 'Recurring' box.You need to be on the 'Reminders' screen to setup reminders. Clicking the service or expense name will take you to the reminder setup page for that particular service or expense. Reminders can be set by distance or time or both.
Recurring services and expenses are repeatable services an expenses for which you would like to set reminders. These reminders could be by distance or time or both.
Automatic trip logging removes the hassle of logging trips manually. Trips are detected shortly after you start driving and end after you’ve stopped. Tax deduction is calculated based on the chosen trip type. You can enable/disable trip logging from the ‘Auto Trip Logging’ screen’. You can also set default trip types and decide if you want automatic trip logging to work on weekends.
GPS tracking can be enabled by clicking on the ‘Track via GPS’ checkbox on the ‘Add Trop’ screen. This will start tracking your distance and will automatically fill in your distance when you end the trip.
Trip types can be edited or deleted by holding (long clicking) the type name. This can be done from the The list of trip types presented to you when you click on the Tax Deduction Rate value. The deduction rate for each trip type can be edited by typing the desired value in the box against the trip type name.
You need to first navigate to ’Sign In To Cloud’ and sign in with your Gmail ID. Once you’ve signed in, your data is automatically backed up on our cloud server. Any change that you make to the data on your phone will instantly update the data in the cloud as well.
Once you've signed in, your data is instantly and automatically backed up onto the cloud. The free version does not back up receipt and vehicle images. You need the pro version to back up receipts and vehicle images.
Yes, if you change phones or re-install Simply Auto, then all you need to do is sign in with the same Gmail ID that was used to previously. All your data will be restored.

First and foremost, make sure that the files Fuel_Log.csv and Vehicles.csv are present in the 'Fuel Buddy' folder on Google Drive. If you have service reminders, then the Services.csv file should also be present. Next, try to delete all the existing vehicles in the app prior to restoring data. If you still see an error, then share you data with support@simplyauto.app. We'll have a look at what the issue could be.
